Now this is a killer lamp. Designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec believe that the lamp attracts people just as a hearth does when you walk into a home. The idea is that finding yourself below a roof, which is below a ceiling creates a feeling of intimacy.

Whatever the reason, I am definitely giving this a thumbs up. I love it.
