This Week At Art MoCo
February 13th, 2009 by sabine7
The week started with Michael Pfleghaar’s paintings of modernist homes set against the desert. Mid-century mirage.

Kyle Fokken’s sculptures are part toy, part vehicle and part creature. Folk art meets pit bull in Fokken’s Flying Dog series.

Chicken wire comes alive, or as alive as it can get, in Benedetta Ubaldini’s installations. Pigs, wolves, clouds and Little Red Riding Hood share space without containing it.

Diego Gravinese paints lively moments of expressiveness and quieter times of contemplation.

And we wrap up with silkscreened prints by Kai and Sunny, such as the one that makes up the tepee lamp above.
